Barbara Link collaborates closely with the CDCN in overseeing all aspects of the organization’s communications initiatives. Her responsibilities include overall strategy and execution, ongoing outreach to the global CDCN community, the development of collateral materials including the CDCN Impact Report and newsletter series, communications support for various special events such as Quest for a Cure, and content development for all social media channels.
With three decades of experience in internal and external communications, Barbara has partnered with numerous companies and organizations across the pharmaceutical, healthcare and nonprofit sectors. She has been intently engaged as a consultant with the CDCN since 2022, and as a rare disease survivor herself, is passionately committed to the organization and its mission.
Barbara has received multiple honors for her work, including the National Communicators Award, two Philadelphia Business Marketing Association Bell Ringer Gold Awards, three International Best Bets Awards from McDonald’s Corporation and four Pepperpot Awards from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She has also been recognized by PRSA with the DeAnn White Award for Community Service. Barbara holds a BA from Pennsylvania State University.
