7th Annual Million Dollar Bike Ride

Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, and social distancing recommendations, the Orphan Disease Center (ODC) will hold a VIRTUAL bike ride in place of our traditional ride on June 13, 2020.

The CDCN participates in an annual event in Philadelphia, each year, the “Million Dollar Bike Ride”. Team Castleman Disease rides to raise funds to further our research in our quest for a cure. This research will continue to help those lives impacted with Castleman Disease. We hope you can join us virtually this year or donate to this event.

What does this mean if you were planning to be on Team Castleman?

  • We still need you to ride!
  • Virtual riders for Team Castleman (on a stationary bike, or on the road) can still participate with the mileage selected during registration anytime between now and June 13th.
  • Ride a mile each day or the whole course all at once – whatever you prefer!
  • Penn’s Orphan Disease Center will provide hashtags for sharing on social media, and we would love it if our Team Castleman posted personal cycling updates on your progress.

Check back closer to the ride to see updates on how we can support each other along the way!
