Chasing Our Cures

Help turn awareness into donations for research studies

Dr. David Fajgenbaum and the CDCN have made unprecedented progress in the fight against Castleman disease (CD), but there is still so much more research that needs to be done in order for all CD patients to have a treatment that will work for them.

You may have read Dr. Fajgenbaum’s bestselling memoir Chasing My Cure and heard about how sirolimus, a drug that no one had thought to try for CD before, has brought Dr. Fajgenbaum his longest-ever remission. But, sirolimus doesn’t work for everyone. The CDCN is actively doing research to see which patients sirolimus works in and which patients need other treatments. We hope you’ll join this campaign to find a way to save the lives of people who don’t have a cure.

Help us get to our goal of $10,000 for Castleman disease research! 100% of all individual donations to the CDCN go directly to funding life-saving Castleman disease and immunology research. See our campaign progress thermometer here.

We are excited to share an opportunity to donate to life-saving research AND get a special gift for someone you love! With a $75 donation to the CDCN, you will receive a signed copy of Dr. David Fajgenbaum’s bestselling memoir Chasing My Cure: A Doctor’s Race to Turn Hope into Action! 100% of the proceeds from your donation will go directly to urgent Castleman disease and immunology research.
